Ending Precedence

Ending Precedence is a site specific installation that was made in collaboration with Emily Kessler.

Eric Shekerjian and Emily Kessler independently developed music and dance in response to the Leandro Erlich installation, Ports of Reflection, in the Neuberger Museum of Art. The music and dance did not directly interact with one another, but rather existed simultaneously within the same space, allowing incidental shared moments to create the illusion of reflection.

The performance occured in the gallerie space allowing the sounds and movement of audience to be an extension of the piece.

Premiere: Neuberger Museum of Art, Purchase, NY (2017)
